Our good friends at Nomadic Agency reached out to create a library of ‘Oddly Satisfying’ CG assets for Yasso’s frozen desserts.
The project is the sweet spot of all the things we love: creative direction, CGI food and fluid VFX, hyper-realism and building art-directable procedural systems to deliver value… oh and frozen yoghurt and chocolate of course!
First up was the Coated Bar: creamy frozen yoghurt covered in quinoa and dipped in chocolate. The procedural model gave us full control in our look dev process, from the number and scatter of the quinoa to the thickness of the chocolate.
Our CG Food visuals push beyond reality, blending hyper-real detail and photoreal texture to make your product look better than real.
Using a procedural, art-directable approach, we fine-tune the look, dialling in the perfect balance between hyper-real artistry and photoreal precision.
Utilising the toolkit of animated CG content, Nomadic Agency created a series of TVCs and social ads. The playful and oddly satisfying loops were designed to ‘stop the scroll’ and engage customers.
I had the pleasure of working with the brilliant team at WV, creating some of the most cutting-edge, photorealistic food assets. From the very start of the project, the team approached the assignment as creatives and artists first, and then executed technically with mind-blowing perfection. On top of the superior finished products, the team was always an absolute joy to work with.
