Wonder Vision Have Been Nominated for an Awwward
Awwwards are the awards that recognise and promote the talent and effort of the best developers, designers and web agencies in the world.
An international jury made up of some of the most important designers, bloggers and Internet agencies, will evaluate each site by means of a strict system of evaluation; scoring it on a scale of 1 to 10 for its Design, Creativity, Usability and Content.
Awwward’s goal is to create a meeting point where web developers, designers and agencies across the world can share experiences, inspiration and knowledge: A community that bids for a more accessible, usable and beautiful Internet.

Wonder Vision Win Silver in the International Design Excellence Awards
The Industrial Designers Society of America proudly unveils the winners of the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA®) 2011 competition – a celebration of design excellence in products, sustainability, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts.
Wonder Vision are the proud recipient of an IDEA Silver Award for their product design work on aura, a commuter cycle helmet which addresses the issue of commueter cyclist safety, while providing a helmet that is a appropriately styled for the urban environment. Its in-built safety features include a rear light and detachable able indicators to signal the cyclists intentions to other road users.
“The IDEA program is considered by many as the ‘Oscars’ of design competitions because the judging process is rigorous and judged by the experts in their field,” said IDSA’s CEO Clive Roux.
“The rigor of selecting the best of over 2,000 entries culminated in three days of intense dialogue and debate that was stimulating and rewarding for the 20 expert jurors-we are proud of the work we have chosen to represent the best from our profession.”

The IDEA 2011 winners rose to the top amid unprecedented, steep competition that includedover 2,000 entries with record international submissions from 39 countries.
This is the second year that The Henry Ford will house the IDEA winners in its permanent collection to enrich the contents as it continues to tell the story of American innovation. Media partners Curve, Core77, Yanko Design and Fast Company offer the year’s winners unprecedented international media exposure
The award ceremony takes place at the IDEA ceremony held Sept. 17 at IDSA’s 2011 International Conference in New Orleans.
