Jetting Systems Architectural Visualisation Case Study
The Brief:
To design and visualise the proposed architectural commercial building for Jetting Systems Ltd in Salisbury, UK.
The Solution:
The rough GA plan drawings were analysed and translated into a parametric 3D CAD model. The glass front to the building was designed, developed and refined on paper before being built onto the parametric CAD model.
The parametric CAD model was imported into a polygon based CAD modelling package. This allows organic material and objects such as trees and grass to be created and positioned easily and efficiently. With the scene file fully detailed and assembled, it was imported into the render engine to begin texturing and UV mapping. This is process of applying realistic materials or shaders to the 3D CAD model. Screen mapped HDRi lighting was used to create the mood and reflections in the scene. This also helps to decrease the render processing time.
After the rendering process was complete, the image was sent to the post production suite for light retouch and colour grading.
The Result:
The building was visualised during the day and also at night to bring the viewers full attention to the glass front and the interior of the building. The image can be seen below. The client; Jetting Systems Ltd were delighted with overall impact of the 3D Visualisations.
